Laura Davis - client relations/co-owner

Once a newspaper journalist, Laura joined Vintage Karma in 2011 with a passion for handmade creations and vintage finds. When she's not curating the small retail space at the front of Vintage Karma, you'll find her working with tattoo clients to  create a memorable experience in a fun, relaxing environment. Whether you need a tattoo consultation, have a question for one of our artists or just feel nervous about your first tattoo, she's your contact for making it happen at VK.

Ainslie Heilich - tattooer/co-owner

Ainslie was always the kid in school who spent time drawing instead of taking notes. They weren't just random doodles, though; it was all part of what would become a 500-page comic book. This obsessive focus is now put into every tattoo he does.

After earning an art degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Ainslie began tattooing in 2004, and he founded Vintage Karma in 2007. The award-winning artist is also featured in the book "Bodies of Subversion" by Margot Mifflin.
